J2Play - Powering the social games ecosystem

The Social Games Graph sets the foundation for a new games ecosystem

J2Play built a very important foundational concept - the Social Games Graph to truly make it possible for developers to build a games business on the social web, in the social-way. We created the Social Games Graph which lays the foundation for truly viral discovery of your game where each game becomes a node on the network similar to how people are a node on social networks. This enables users to traverse the graph when viral features are added to a game in essence creating a games social network.

In our model, each game can be discovered from any other game, on any social site, on Web, Mobile or PC and the Social Games Graph makes this possible.

J2Play's implementation of the Social Games Graph was formed from two key concepts, unifying the diverse social platforms into one true-social web and making all games part of the same community:

One true social web

We view the social web as all 270+ million social site users, not users of one particular platform.

We unified all social platforms with J2Play technology to create the one-true social web for the games market that works across all social-sites seamlessly.

This enables one community of games whether Web, Mobile or PC, not limited by social site walls. One way to look at this is that J2Play technology automatically ports a game to all social sites.

Contributors to the J2Play social web currently include:

One open games community

In order for users to traverse through games similar to people in social networks, all games must be a part of the same community.

Each game is a games portal

Each game with J2Play technology is enabled with 11 viral features to discover other Web, Mobile or PC games that are enabled with J2Play. This means there are no more single destination sites or destination applications for users to go to find new games. Each game becomes a games portal for users, and each game becomes an entry point for users to traverse the social games graph to discover new games.
